Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers awarded Larsen & Toubro a Rs 797 crore contract for ammonia plant revamp in Thailand

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited, a Government of India undertaking, announced that its Board of Directors has approved a purchase order of Rs 797 Crores plus taxes to Larsen and Toubro Limited for the revamp of an Ammonia plant in Thailand, aimed at reducing specific energy consumption. The project, awarded on a lowest tender basis, encompasses detailed engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, commissioning, and a guarantee run, with a completion timeframe of 36 months. The Board meeting took place on September 25, 2026, commencing at 17:30 pm and concluding at 19:20 pm, and no promoter or group companies have any interest in Larsen and Toubro Limited.
