Skipper Limited jumps 2.40% after securing Rs 797 crore orders for domestic and international T&D projects

Skipper Ltd. is up 2.40% to Rs 575.0, building on recent gains and rising 10.02% over the last week.

Skipper Limited (BSE: 538562, NSE: SKIPPER) announced it has secured new orders totaling Rs 797 crores for domestic and international Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) projects, including export orders for transmission towers and monopoles in Australia and a domestic 765 Kv transmission line project. Director Sharan Bansal noted the orders strengthen the company's presence in higher-voltage transmission infrastructure and highlight growing traction in international markets, particularly Australia, aligning with Skipper’s strategy of expanding into developed international markets and diversifying its order portfolio. Established in 1981, Skipper Limited is a leading manufacturer of Power T&D structures and a major EPC player.

Skipper Ltd. shares saw a trading volume of 2.67 lakh today, a decrease of 59.71% from the average one-week volume. Skipper Ltd. edged up by 5.96% year-over-year, outperforming the 7.43% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
