East India Drums secures Rs 59.02 crore contract from Hindustan Petroleum for Bitumen Drums

East India Drums & Barrels Manufacturing Ltd. remains unchanged at Rs 94.77, building on recent gains and up 2.11% over the last week.

East India Drums & Barrels Manufacturing Limited announced it has received a contract from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, a Central Public Sector Undertaking within the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), for the supply of Bitumen Drums -IS3575 (Q3). The contract, awarded to a domestic entity, is valued at Rs 590,246,487.92 and is to be executed immediately over a period of 2 years, representing a standard course of business for the company and involving no related party transactions.

Trading volume reached 1.09 lakh shares today, a surge of 1140.9% compared to the average volume of the last one week. East India Drums & Barrels Manufacturing Ltd softened by 17.95% year-over-year, underperforming the 8.17% loss in the NIFTY50 index.
