Federal Bank Ltd slips for fifth straight session

Federal Bank Ltd dropped for a fifth straight session today. The stock is quoting at Rs 331.05, down 0.51% on the day as on 13:19 IST on the NSE. The benchmark NIFTY is up around 0.23% on the day, quoting at 23323.6. The Sensex is at 74532.89, up 0.29%.Federal Bank Ltd has lost around 7.73% in last one month.Meanwhile, Nifty Bank index of which Federal Bank Ltd is a constituent, has eased around 1.63% in last one month and is currently quoting at 56055.75, up 0.45% on the day. The volume in the stock stood at 93.69 lakh shares today, compared to the daily average of 50.37 lakh shares in last one month.

The benchmark September futures contract for the stock is quoting at Rs 332.3, down 0.73% on the day. Federal Bank Ltd jumped 67.26% in last one year as compared to a 7.91% slide in NIFTY and a 1.53% spurt in the Nifty Bank index.
