Jain Irrigation secures Rs 117.96 crore contract from MSEDCL for solar water pumping systems

Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd-DVR currently trades at Rs 21.5, having risen 3.17% over the last week.

Jain Irrigation Systems Limited has received a Letter of Empanelment from the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) to supply and install 5,000 Off-Grid DC Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) across Maharashtra under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana, with a total contract value of Rs 117.96 crore inclusive of GST. The project, which includes the design, manufacture, supply, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of 3 HP, 5 HP, and 7.5 HP solar pumping systems, is slated for completion within 60 days, and does not involve any related party transactions.

Trading volume reached 67598 shares today, a surge of 922.97% compared to the average volume of the last one week. Jain Irrigation Systems Ltd-DVR experienced a sharp decline of 38.38% year-over-year, underperforming the 8.01% loss registered by the NIFTY50 index.
