Bondada Engineering Limited jumps 1.30%, winning Rs 41.01 crore smart energy metering project from TGNPDCL

Bondada Engineering Ltd. is up 1.30% to Rs 292.35, extending recent gains and rising 4.50% over the last week.

Bondada Engineering Limited has received a Letter of Intent through a joint venture with BEST Infra Private Limited, securing a Rs 41.01 crore smart energy metering project from Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited (TGNPDCL). The project, involving the procurement, supply, installation, and maintenance of 40,000 smart energy meters (12,500 single-phase and 27,500 three-phase), will be executed over 11 months from the date of the Purchase Order. The company noted the project aligns with the product portfolio of its subsidiary, Bondada E&E Pvt. Ltd., and reflects its commitment to growth in infrastructure and technology sectors.

Trading volume reached 1.37 lakh shares today, a surge of 29.49% compared to the average volume of the last one week. Bondada Engineering Ltd. experienced a sharp decline of 25.92% year-over-year, underperforming the 5.78% loss seen in the NIFTY50 index.
