U.S. equity markets registered a fourth consecutive quarterly decline

US equities declined for a fourth straight trading day as August producer price index data revealed intensifying inflationary trends, propelling the 10-year Treasury yield to a three-year peak proximate to the 5% level. The S&P 500 retreated 0.58%, the Nasdaq decreased 0.65%, and the Dow declined 0.60% in the wake of this release. WTI Crude oil futures concurrently advanced more than 5% amid persistent concerns regarding immediate supply constraints in global markets.
