Chinese stocks settle mixed

Chinese stocks ended mixed on Tuesday, with the Shanghai Composite rising 0.19% to 3,889.4 and the Shenzhen Component falling 0.35% to 13,745.9, marking its lowest level in nearly a month. Investors remained cautious, particularly regarding technology stocks, ahead of Nvidia’s earnings on Wednesday, which could impact the ongoing AI-driven rally. Eoptolink Technology declined 2.70% despite strong revenue and profit growth, alongside declines in Hua Hong Semiconductor, Zhongji Innolight, and NAURA Technology. However, Luxshare Precision Industry gained 2.1% after reporting higher first-half profit and revenue. Investors are watching the National People's Congress Standing Committee meeting from August 25 to 28 for potential growth-supporting policies.
