Quick Wrap: Nifty Pharma Index falls 3.33%

Nifty Pharma index closed down 3.33% at 22011.7 today. The index has slipped 0.00% over last one month. Among the constituents, Aurobindo Pharma Ltd dropped 5.26%, Granules India Ltd slipped 4.87% and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd fell 4.51%. The Nifty Pharma index has soared 1.00% over last one year compared to the 1.78% slide in benchmark Nifty 50 index. In other indices, Nifty Metal index has dropped 1.97% and Nifty IT index has dropped 1.85% on the day. In broad markets, the Nifty 50 has slid 0.82% to close at 24565.35 while the SENSEX has slid 0.72% to close at 80599.91 today.
