Government slashes export duty on petrol, diesel and jet fuel

The government has revised the export duty on petrol, diesel, and jet fuel through its latest bi-fortnightly review, as detailed in a recent notification. Beginning September 16, the export levy on petrol will be set at Rs 0.50 per litre, on diesel at Rs 20 per litre, and on aviation turbine fuel (ATF) at Rs 15 per litre.
