India's H1 GDP Growth Hits 8%, Economists Raise FY26 Forecast to Around 7.6%

The first half (H1) gross domestic product (GDP) growth clocked 8%. As a result, most economists upgraded their full-year 2025-2026 (FY26) growth forecast to 7.5% or above. It is assumed that the overall growth for FY26 would be approximately 7.6%.
