Active Covid-19 cases count nears 4900 mark in India

India has reported 564 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of active cases to 4,866, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare's latest update today. Seven deaths were also recorded during this period.
