Public issue of 33,984,000 equity shares of face value of Rs.10 each (equity shares) of Cochin Shipyard Ltd (the company) or issuer) for cash at a price of Rs. 432 per equity share (including a share premium of Rs. 422 per equity share) aggregating to Rs 1442.01 crores (issue) consisting of a fresh issue of 22,656,000 equity shares aggregating to Rs. 961.34 crores (fresh issue) and an offer for sale of 11,328,000 equity shares by the President of India aggregating to Rs. 480.67 crores (offer for sale, and the selling shareholders). The issue includes a reservation of up to 8,24,000 equity share aggregating to Rs. 33.87 crores for subscription by eligible employees (as defined in the DHRP) (employee reservation portion).
